Variety is the Best Defense to Stay Healthy.
Despite there being families of essential oil that share similar chemical structures and therapeutic value, each has its own unique chemical composition. Hence a variety of oils may be antiviral, antiseptic and antimicrobial but each will have its particular strength in this regard. When we use 1 or 2 essential oils for immune support, we certainly benefit; but when we use a variety of antiviral and antimicrobial oils we participate in a more wholistic approach to staying healthy. Our line of defense is broader and we have a greater safety net. This is particularly important when dealing with the unknown, difficult viruses or viruses that are constantly mutating. It means that harnessing the therapeutic value necessary to counter the multitude and variety of microbial threats is more likely.
In choosing oils to support our immune system consider a variety from the following: On Guard, lemon, tea tree, aborvitae, frankincense, myrrh, helichrysum, thyme, rosemary, DDR, lavender, Melissa and Rose.
