Unsurpassed Purity
DoTERRA oils are classified as CPTG. The term “CPTG, Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade®,” sounds technical, official, and impressive; and it is. There are no laws governing essential oils in Canada. Without an accepted standard for essential oil quality, doTERRA created its own; the most stringent in the industry, to certify that there are no added fillers, synthetic ingredients, or harmful contaminants in their essential oils that would reduce their efficacy. DoTERRA even goes a step further, putting all their products and the packaging through a battery of tests to ensure a long and effective shelf-life.
Utilizing its own facilities, as well as trusted third-party labs, each batch of doTERRA essential oils goes through an extensive CPTG process before it is made available for sale to ensure that the product you receive is of the highest quality, every time.

Chemistry is the foundation of pure, quality essential oils. After the aromatic compounds are distilled from the plant material, it is confirmed that each batch meets the chemical composition standards using a combination instrument known as a GC/MS, or “Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectroscopy”, to guarantee that the chemistry of the oil matches the expected profile. The gas chromatography instrument separates the molecules in the oil based on chemistry, and the mass spectrometer identifies each group of molecules.
After GC/MS testing, the ratios between each chemical constituent are analyzed so that our essential oil experts can verify that each oil is in its most pure, natural form. Once a batch is determined to meet our chemical profile guidelines, it can then move on to the next stage of testing.
Doterra has been approved by the FDA as a certified Natural Health Product
This means that doTERRA oils have been subjected to the same testing as any pharmaceutical drug and have been proved to be safe for use. This is a time consuming and expensive process. Thank you doTERRA! With this in place, we are assured of their safety AND it is possible that your oils could be covered in your benefits package with your employer! Natural Health Product (NHP) Certification
Many doERRA essential oils have been approved by Health Canada as a certified Natural Health Product (NHP)! This is a long and expensive process for any company to take and we are grateful to doTERRA for doing so and thereby ensuring the quality and safety of their oils. Being certified as a Natural Health Product means that doTERRA essential oils have been subjected to the same testing as any pharmaceutical drug in Canada. Hence you are ensured of their purity and provided with specific health claims from the FDA to help you and your family maintain and support your health. A Natural Product Number (NPN) is provided for the oils on the approved claims list. This number can be used with some insurance companies who cover, or partially cover natural health products. The testing process for NHP designation takes time. Eventually all doTERRA oils will be designated as Natural Health Products as the testing process unfolds and you will know which ones have been approved by checking the approved claims list. Abolishing Child Sex Trafficking
The doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation™ is proud to be partnering with Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R. Rescue) to bring healing and hope to the world. O.U.R. Rescue exists to rescue children from sex trafficking by utilizing some of the world’s experts in extraction operations and anti-child trafficking efforts.
O.U.R. Rescue’s Jump Team, consisting of former CIA, Navy SEALs, and Special Ops operatives, lead coordinated identification and extraction efforts to rescue children being trafficked for sex. To ensure perpetuity and sustainability of these extraction efforts, O.U.R. Rescue works with law enforcement in the countries where they rescue children to ensure that everything is done legally and with the support of the local authorities.
The children rescued from these extraction efforts are then rehabilitated by O.U.R. Rescue’s aftercare program, and the perpetrators are arrested, tried, and convicted to ensure that they don’t traffic children again.

Life happens! It’s sometimes good, sometimes bad. Life is to run like a movie, going smoothly from one scene to the next. Or, like driving down the road; we know the hydro poles, trees, etc. are there but they don’t linger in our minds for long. It is when experiences do make an impression – something sticks in our minds and takes our attention, that an emotional charge is created. If we can’t work it out, this emotional charge may start to create challenges within our bodies, starting as an uncomfortable feeling – dis-ease. Left unresolved we may develop a disease.
As a Natural Health, Body Talk and Emotion Code Practitioner, releasing these trapped emotions and helping the body to address areas of disease is a large part of my practice. Being introduced to Essential Oils, particularly the 100% pure doTERRA Essential Oils, is very exciting for me. These oils are doing an amazing job of helping the trapped emotions clear. For example, the skin clearing blend (clear skin) or thyme helps to release anger and juniper berry helps to release terror. The oils enable the client to release these painful emotions without having to ‘revisit’ or ‘talk’ through the original experience. Empowering clients to work through their emotional challenges with doTERRA Essential Oils helps to free up our session time for other challenges that are not so easily addressed.

After I began working in healthcare settings in 1990, I realized the importance of Alternative Health when my shoulder impingement improved without ice and exercise after a BodyTalk session. I am thankful for the opportunities life presents. Later I felt inspired to help others and became a Reiki Master in 2005.
I use Doterra Essential Oils for personal health and in the Body Talk sessions to support healing of body systems. Some additional courses I have taken are Traditional Chinese Medicine, San Baio Acupuncture Class and AromaTouch Massage Class where I use Doterra Essential Oils. A BodyTalk client gave me permission to put Doterra Essential Oils on areas that were a priority in her session. A small amount of Doterra Essential Oils was put on and within a few minutes client was feeling changes in her body. She felt changes after going home and said “ that was the best session she has ever had”.
I provide distance sessions using Mindscape techniques for clients who are unable to travel to my clinic. Clients in Austria and Cuba were grateful for their distant session (client in Austria said “she felt like I was right there in person doing the session that helped her eye”… “I found out after the session with client in Cuba that she had eaten chicken prior to the session. This time she had no side effects from eating the chicken when other people had side effects”).

I have always held a strong interest in the incredible innate healing abilities of our bodies. It amazes me how we have the intrinsic capability to repair and protect against damage caused by external threats. I strive to continuously learn how to provide care and nourishment to bring ourselves to the most optimal state for positive, healthy outcomes.
When I started using essential oils I quickly came to learn what a valuable tool these gifts from nature are. One of my very first experiences with essential oils helped support my young daughter in a way that made a big impact on our family. At the time, we thought we had exhausted all options to help her, when in fact essential oils provided the most effective way to nourish her. This was so fantastic as we also knew we were not exposing her small body to harmful ingredients that may affect her in other ways.
Since then essential oils have become a staple in our home. They are one of the first things we turn to in order to support ourselves for various physical and emotional needs. There are some differences in the way we use essential oils with our children than ourselves due to their sensitive and smaller bodies. We have seen many positive outcomes and I believe they are an amazing resource for every family’s home.

I have been riding horses most of my life and can’t imagine life without riding! I am deeply connected with my mare. And have recently won two riding championships. In 1985 I was accepted into the RMT program at Sutherland and Chan Massage and Chiropractic School in Toronto. I completed the first 9 months out of an 18 month program. I continued to learn other modalities and practiced Massage since that time. I have studied Body Talk up to the level of Fundamentals 1&2, as well as the Access Technique. In the past 5 years, I have started using Doterra essential oils in the stable, at home and with my clients.
